Landscaping Supply
When it comes to the landscaping supplies you
will need to start landscaping your property, there are a whole range of
tools you need and a whole range of tools you don't need.
So what tools do you need? Good question, and here is an even better
answer.
It all depends on what you want to do.
For general landscaping and maintenance, you will need simple tools
like; pitch forks, shovels, spades, hoes, rakes, trowels, hammers,
secateurs, watering cans, lawn mowers and of course, wheelbarrows.
All the above tools are every thing a landscaper will need to do basic
maintenance and gardening and those tools above are a good place to start.
If you really want to get serious about your backyard landscaping and
save time doing so, here are a few tools you might consider.
A pavement weeder is a good investment, as it allows you to weed right
between cracks. A hand fork (smaller version of a pitch fork) is great for
loosening soil when weeding by hand.
As you know, there are many different types of spades, but apart from
the usual plain spade, you might want to consider purchasing a border spade.
A wire brush is a very handy tool. If you have wooden surfaces in your
garden, this will get rid of any algae deposits. Shears are great for
getting rid of unwanted branches easily, just make sure you buy a pair that
is made from high quality steel.
If you hate doing lawn edges, then buy an electric trimmer. They are so
much quicker then hand operated trimmers. If you have a hedge, buy an
electric hedge trimmer.
A LONG garden hose is an absolute must. Make sure you buy all the
different types of nozzles and spray pieces available to you.
I know this seems like a long list, but these tools are a great
investment and you can of course buy them over a long period of time.

landscape, remember that there are four seasons. You will want flowers
and shrubs which bloom during different times of the season, autumn
